I remember back in the mid-80s (it was spring of 1984 after I bought a Mac) when many techies told me IBM would crush Apple because Apple would not openly license their software to scores of Companies.

One could agrue since they won the first battel against IBM, why should they change now?

I am not saying we should sell EDIG and buy Apple, but everyone should own some Apple stock based on their marketing ablilty at least.
