It is now clear why all of us got confused...
1) Giants reported FISH was sitting with DM during the hearing he attended in Colorado Court....
We he a duscussion of this at the time, and my view then was that such a transfer of talent was portentious of significant startegy on DM coving the switch by a "PRINCIPAL" of FISH Richarson to DM.
2) Emit posted it to Link-Library...
3) You must have pointed out that FISH died in 1933 and the post was removed.
4) I must have missed the clarification by you to FISH being dead.
5) Now it turns out a "PRINCIPAL" of Fish and Richarson, the most likley defense attorney for AAPL, namely Mark A. Fisher, with the following qualification;
Fischer joins Duane Morris from Fish & Richardson, P.C., where he was a Principal. In December, Duane Morris added Lee Crews, Ph.D., as a partner in the firm's IP group in Boston, also from Fish & Richardson.
Fischer assists clients in the US and internationally with transactions, copyright and patent licensing, trademarks, arbitration and litigation involving information technology, the Internet, new media and social networking, software, interactive entertainment, electronic publishing, mobile devices, DVDs and gaming. He also serves the biotechnology and medical industries. Fischer drafted the first open source software agreement and litigated the first moral rights lawsuit in Massachusetts. Widely known in the field of entertainment law, his clients have included Oscar-winning documentary filmmakers, Grammy winners and best-selling authors. At Fish & Richardson he was chair of the firm's New Media & Entertainment section and he co-chaired the Copyright section.
is now on Board as DM attorney, most probably handling EDIG case.
One last comment; attorneys of the caliber of Mr. FISHER don't willy-nilly change affailiations from defense to plaintiff side...
By the time one reaches the stature Mr. Richardson has acheived die has been cast and he pretty much stays put in the corporate stucture he started with. DM must have waved a great deal of incentive, and they are not all monetary in nature, beforfe his nose to convince him to make the switch...
This is all aimed at defuse the guess work as to wether DM is ding a good job or not. That is all.
Gil...
