I can't recall now, but I think it was CES 2004. There was a big SPLASH in the PANASONIC PAVILLION I think...
They were touting FLAT SCREEN TV that you could split the screen on. And it was supposed to ANSWER THE PHONE on the screen, where your son would be calling from Mid El Capitan, hanging in a rock on one screen, and you would contine watching Trojans beat up on Cal...
Most of that Tech. Dream has come true now. There is no reason your son, (mine is an old married Man and does not climb El Capitan any longer), can't call you on his Samsung Galaxy from El Capitan and you answer it on your Samsung 980 Flat Screen HD TV with surround sound now...
The point is what was only a dream now, is almost there, and the Markets for are mush rooming by leaps and bounds...
Who would have thought APPL would be considering to buy out SONY. And Jobs is doing by taking a broke Apple, buying some PLATFORMS from Portal Player, and the rest is history...
We are getting there, no later than 2/28/2011...
