I have expressed a few of my thoughts on this subject in the past. Executives and BOD are rewarded based on a number of variables, which are many for any logical discussion.
I believe there is a considerable difference between executive officers and the BOD, especially in very small company's like edig. In my opinion the BOD does very little in producing results, therefore the rewards should be small.
I like to see results first, then come the rewards. This is outside of normal salary increases and long term contract terms already established.
