no known connection, could this be the "elements"??? coincidence?
"One of the key elements that allowed Apple to make the new MacBook Air so slim was the elimination of traditional drive packaging for the solid-state drive (SSD). Rather than installing the flash memory in a case that could be installed in place of a spinning drive, the SSD looks like an old-school DRAM stick with exposed chips and the interface contacts along one end. in my humble opinion...i can only think of 2 ways that a company KNOWS that they will have an important announcement in 10 months...feb to december, but CAN"T announce the details: (with each potentially requiring a confidentiality agreement)
1. the significant new investment interest IS actually significant new investment interest with a due diligence period....(rather long dd), or
2. awaiting actual sales from royalty agreement for a monthly or quarterly acctg, to show that something is actually monetarily due...
do others have examples that would work....time certain, but can't announce details?--
