Pretty comical really. Joomla is a free open source content management system that was used to build the EDIG website. When Joomla is installed, it comes with placeholder text that the web designer is expected to replace with text that is relevant to the actual site.
In this case, the designer neglected to replace some of the stock Joomla text. So the site works fine, but contains some of the leftover paceholders in the page header. As many have pointed out, it's no biggie. But it nevertheless does look sloppy and unprofessional. Lol.
Here's hoping we all have something more substantive to discuss soon. Like maybe "the elements."
