I am no smarter than anyone else here regarding guessing but based on everything that I could research about the players:
1) DM is too smart to not have done their own detailed re-exam of the patent(s).
2) If DM felt that the Marksman would be damaging, they would have settled at lower amounts and not risked the chance of obtaining nothing from the remaining infringers.
3) Woody Norris from his own website:
He has thirty or forty U.S. patents and over 300 patents around the world, and another fifty or sixty pending. Currently, he's working on four things at once, three of which are top secret. "If any one of them succeeds, we'll all be rich," says Woody.
He is like Ron Popeil, he just keeps inventing.
4) Woody Norris would not have wasted his time changing his web.link to EDIG if he wasn'tr going to get credit for something new.
5) It didn't matter if Robert Putnam stayed or left Edigital. If they succeed, he still has all of those shares of stock. If they are a think tank of ideas for others to manufacture and bring to market what is his role anyways. I am sure he wasn't dependent upon his salary.
6) I am convinced that Samsung is not out of the picture.
I am very cautious when it comes to investing but IMO the cards are stacked in our favor here.
