Seems this is a one time licensing settlement as per the PR.

"TEAC obtained a license and release on the Company's Flash-R™ patent portfolio and paid e.Digital a one-time licensing fee."

Hard to know what the settlement value may be, but if the patents are as valuable as we might wish, I would prefer ongoing royalties with TEAC et al on a per unit sold basis to a one time licensing fee.
