Its typical two face lawyering . Our clients have not infringed however we do not want to provide the back up docs the court is asking for . Well if I am innocent I give them whatever they need vrs trying to conceal :-)

Ever watch a crime show and they have the guy dead to rights guilty then on some technicality evidence is thrown out and the guilty party is set free only to murder again ???
