"The data revealed that 450 million smartphones will be shipped in 2011 by vendors, compared to the 303.4 million units shipped in 2010"
We are one decision away from participating in a huge growth market, past, present and future.
I would love to see the number on the table offered to NOKIA to settle. At what point do they consider a take over of EDIG, as even with 300 million shares outstanding, EDIG is a drop in the bucket for a company of Nokia's size, not to mention they would have the patent portfolio and who knows what upside from there immediately via DM, and of course, the NUNCHI developments ?
With patent assets now being recognized as a huge part of the game, NOKIA should not just want EDIG to go away but rather, they should want to own their patents to further leverage against companies like Apple, HTC etc., down the road.
