You have to deduct the the shares that are held by management and the board. They are not part of the market. That amounts to 25+ million shares not tradeable.

I disagree on your speculation aspect. The trading range and difference in most cases amounted to a penny or in some cases a tenth or two tenths.

With lower shares as you mention, it would increase the %, not reduce it.
