You said:...
"When large companies announce huge settlements that effect materially their market price and to some extent their viability"...
FIRST:
EDIG is not a LARGE company...
SECOND:
Theres nothing in todays PR to even IMPLY this was HUGE settlement...
Therefore, your statement that follows, " It is really unconsionable to see how edig handles the same issues" is a non sequitur, as the issues involved are very different.
This is not like NOKIA suing Microsoft and settling for gezillion dollars. Here we have NO TRIALS or JURY VERDICTS.
EDIG, a penny stock company, is claiming all defendants they named in Co 19 owe them some money. They are on the cusp of getting a Ruling in a Markman Hearing they tried 5+ Months ago. And it would be foolish to announce it on TV that PANASONIC gave them X-dollars just to placate you, the shareholder. Such a knowlege would decidely affect decisions of the remaing companies who are in the process of negotiaing for settlement of their own with DM before the Judge announces her DECISION...
Aside from gripe you have said not a thing that convinces me DM is wrong in the way they are running a thight shop while the case if moving along to its conclusion...
