A Yes, I have it.
Q Would you please point out where in the Exhibit 1 patent it
specifically discloses RAM?
A Well, by including DSP, microprocessor, CODEC, it's obvious
it includes RAM.
Q My question is can you point in the patent where it
specifically discloses RAM?
A You mean in the claims?
Q In the specification, the claims, the figures.
A I'd have to read the whole thing to be able to find
anything. I'm not sure of that.
Q Did you review this patent in preparation for your
testimony today?
A Not in that kind of detail, no.
Q Are you aware of anyplace in the '774 patent where it
specifically discloses the use of RAM?
A Not specifically, no. Again, because it discloses
microprocessors, DSP, CODECs, it has to have RAM. When you
describe those things in any claim.
Q That's your understanding of what -- that was your
understanding at the time the patent was filed, correct?
A My knowledge of DSP and RAM. Microcontrollers.
Q And you've said a DSP is a what?
A Digital signal processor.
