New technologies replacing Flash

It is really interesting to see the pace of progress on two new technologies that are likely to replace Flash in the future. Both RRAM and PCM are non-volatile memories that will be faster, lower power, and cheaper than flash memory. What is really nice is that the memory cells can be addressed individually, unlike flash memory, which means that you dont need an intermediary memory like RAM for processing. This could be an interesting development for Edig. Not sure the patents would cover this new technology however.
Has anyone been folowing the developments out of MIT? They actually have constructed a new high-speed electron-beam lithography system for 9 nanometers. Thats right, it is not a typo you are seeing. Actually 9 nanometers. Amazing.
