The Federal Circuit rejected the argument that the definition of “centrifugal unit” did nothing more than state the claimed invention’s intended field of use.

IMO, That is basically what is happening for e.Digital.

The court considers the "invention’s intended field of use".....that being file constructs....analog or digital ...."as applicable".....however, it over looks "digital information" in managing.

The novelty is not in the former....it's in the latter.
