It's not the same when the seller is a Market Maker. The MM's own a number of shares which they offer to sell in varing size lots, for a certain price.
MM's also offer to buy shares in varing size lots, for a certain price.
In both cases the buy/sell prices can fluctuate according to demand, but usually not by a great amount.
That is why they are called "Market Makers". There is not enough demand for Edig on the open market, at this time, so the MM's are there to fill sell or buy orders. They will certainly sell at the bid, which will not necessarily be evident, except the bid probably won't drop like it would on a large sell order.
When Edig starts making the financial news, the public will start buying, leading to high volumn days that will make all of us some money. We're just not there yet.
All in my opinion, as I understand the system.
