Message: 774 & 737 re-exams ?'s

Maybe Edig thinks that there is a strong chance that, while taking more time, a re-exam has a significant chance of going in their favor. Afterall, Woody, Fred et al are supposed to be attending the meetings with the patent office people instead of leaving it up to a judge with a sketchy track record(Phillips case). They took a chance that the judge would see the light which would have shortened the process knowing full well that they had faith in the re-exam in the longer run. Is it possible that during settlement negotiations EDIG said to HTC "if you file for a re-exam(which cannot be unfiled even after a settlement) we will settle with you for X amount--sort of a win/win? Then, together with other recent on the small side settlements , the company will definitely make it cash flow-wise beyond the final re-exam results(+- a year from now). Just trying to figure out the puzzle that is EDIG. GLTA
