BTW, Fred told me during my last visit, using the term Tier I, II etc was misleading and it should not have been said that way by RP. It implies that the filing list has bigger companies, meaning Tier II and III etc, more infringing products etc, which is not the case at all.

Evidence of this is, just look at the TX 7, then CO 19. There was a mixture of small, medium and large CE outfits in both filings, and the settlement values varied as well.

He concluded with, it's Round I, II etc.

I know, just terminolgy, but he wanted to clear the air because he's received many questions on the statement made.
