Wencor bought APS thinking (incorrectly I might add) that they were buying the digEplayer platform. They failed to do their DD, possibly because they bought APS for very, very little money, so they figured they couldn`t lose on the deal. When they found out they only bought the box and the name they started looking elsewhere for a player they could own outright. Of course their deal with IMS fell through after they did their DD. I have no idea what the future holds for us with Wencor, but they weren`t happy when they realized they had to pay e.Digital fees for mfg and royalties.
