I`ve a relative living in a nearby town, south of New Orleans. As he was getting ready to evacuate he saw a neighbor standing, watching. Come to find out the neighbor said he didn`t have money for gas so would have to stay. Whereupon, ....took his wallet out, gave his neighbor $100.00 to get gas and evacuate his family. People have gone back to their homes in that town, but there isn`t expected to be power until the 10th. Generators help, but because there isn`t any power, local gas stations aren`t open. That means someone has to bring gas from somewhere else. Mindboggling, to say the least.
