A speaker is a regulated component, as is the microphone....etc....there are other components that are coupled and decoupled through the same methods depending on what components are necessitated by the micro controller .....such as the charge pump for the VPP connection to the flash memory socket.....which takes into consideration for supplying electrical power to the device.: as one of a number of a regulated components

For the flow of events..... power source coupled to------->the control circuitry------>to the device.: a device can be any number of components....speaker, microphone .....etc or a power source to the flash socket.

What the examiner has highlighted does not take into question that there are two separate sides to the coupling and decoupling issue....

"power source coupled to ---------> the control circuitry" ...........and................ "control circuitry-----> coupled to" components.

There are two sides to this consideration, the micro- controller and it's dedicated power source which represents "power source coupled to ---------> the control circuitry" and then there is the control circuitry and its dedicated power source which represents control circuitry--------> coupled to.....pick a device device.

It's way, in my prior post, for the phrase in question by the examiner "power source coupled to the control circuitry for supplying electrical power to the device.:"

That phrase represents the induction of an electrical power source to the flash memory socket, as that particular claim is about managing flash memory considerations.

I suggested the placement of the word relay.....as there is a relay action between the two dedicated and separate power sources.
