Though not the same issues as e.Digital....as e.Digital caters to CE device platforms. Contributing to the bottle neck is the actual data write to flash memory and the overhead on that write. The CPU runs fast, however, the write to flash memory has a slow performance.

SANDISK is offering a solution to the problem to make SSD's more appealing.

The preformance of my cell phone camera is appealing....it's write to flash is way faster than the bottle neck of other cameras I've had.
