That is not necessarily the case.
My guess is that some investors from the Norris days and early EDIG days had opportunities to take profits after buying directly from the company. And likely some did not.
The $81 million number indicates the amount of money raised by EDIG over their history by selling stock, not in the open market, but directly to investors yielding cash to the corporaton. Certainly some took losses and some may still be holding.
It does not, however, exist as debt to the company.
