Over the course of 20 years they raised money for operations, including new product development, such as a multitude of handheld flash recorders, marketing, production and distribution, MP3 players, digeplayers, eVUs, along with new patent and technology development.

They raised the majority of this money by issuing stock.

Is it OK that their product lines did not become the market darlings, as did the ipod?

I think the entire consumer electronics industry can relate and speak to that.

What would you think if they had not made the effort to raise money to take their shot at what turned out to be one helluva prize for some companies???

As it exists today, they are still in the hunt to claim their stake in those global billion dollar markets.

Apple remains at large and the patents are in the hands of the USPTO to decide if their decisions to issue these patents was correct.
