This is my question: as you can see, he could not address my specific concern whether this was a response issue to the "final rejection" or an "appeal" which is far more involved, based on my limited understanding of this stuff.
This is me below...draw your own conclusion...all of you...
"There is some confusion about the timeline, in that some people think this falls under a 60 day window, to just respond to the "final rejection" vs an APPEAL which would be 9 months or more.
The Feb 9 PR says this: “Regarding the ‘774 and ‘737 reexamination process, we have conducted patent examiner interviews and submitted office action responses to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). We expect the reexamination process to conclude within approximately three months.”
Putting us at mid-May...
My interpretation of the April 4 PR update is we are just going to make ammendmants to certain claims as needed for the examiner to then "rubber stamp" it.
Can you clarify please?"
