I'm one of those who felt the Samsung settlement had an odd twist, meaning 445 & 108 being dismissed from the suit, then the 30 day extension Samsung requested, EDIG/DM did not object, so that Samsung could "take care of obligations." On 9-17-09 poster jonthezman, his Wife and I paid a joint visit with RP. Jon brought up the Samsung deal, looking for more details, and all that was said to be a repeat of the PR...understandable.

Two schools of thought here. One says the settlement is final, nothing more to do, game over and nothing to be revisited. Me, never felt we were done with Samsung totally, in that we may make a deal with them down the road unrelated to the settlement, such as a collaboritive effort, partnership...something. Said it many times...After all, we did cross license with them getting some selected patents per the PR.

The sensor thing is interesting though, but not getting my hopes up for yet another disappointment. Luck is never on our side.
