Live: Samsung unveils Galaxy S III
2:30 p.m.: Another cool feature: face recognition that knows your friends, and even links to their social media profiles on Facebook or other outlets direct from the images.
2:26 p.m.: More on S Voice: You can personalize wake-up commands to get the smartphone to turn on. Again, very similar to Siri. You can ask to "take a picture" and the camera automatically launches. S Voice understands 8 languages.
2:24 p.m.: It looks like the S III has a Siri-style assistant. A user says "wake up" and the device turns on. Simple prompts such as "play music" executes other actions. It's called S Voice.
The other fascinating feature: smart stay. Instead of the phone going to sleep when you're not touching the screen, the S III will stay awake as long as you're looking at the screen. Using the front-facing camera, it watches your eyes to know when to go into sleep mode. Kinda creepy, but really cool.
