With that, e.Digital does not have a physical presence on the card, as the SD card is an off the shelf item.
However, they are demonstrating an ability to emulate file execution from the card...if a file was playing and they removed the card and it stopped playing.
Had they removed the card and the file continued to play....the file is executing from a RAM resource that the file was loaded to.
Note: my response to Dischion is for his consideration, not for a thumb collection, stars, to hear myself talk....etc.
