Thanks for posting one of the most interesting articles ever. The referencing of MEMS becoming a Trillion Dollar Market is truly astonishing. Not to mention the reference to us enjoying another "Industrilization Revolution". I read all of the info in what you posted and am amazed at how many MEMS there could be . All over the surface of the earth to monitor Sunamis, Huricanes, every possible disaster, as well as the living organism that is the earth.

The reference to MEMS that will monitor our health, with our phone,is going to be very helpful to all persons. The heart rate, BP, and how well your body is functioning, even how well you breathe, all captured in these sensors.

There is also a reference to Cancer and the abiltiy of these MEMS playing a role.

A few years ago I had seen a segment on 60 Minutes where a gentleman whom I think was a Mr Kanas, not sure, who was an engineer. He wanted to help people with Cancer, particularly children. He devised a system of injecting cancer cells with NANO Particles of Gold, and than heating those cells with Radio Waves. The heat would heat the Nano Particles which would KILL the cancer cells. Your article references that very method of helping people with their fight against cancer. As an incredible coincidence, Mr Kanas also was able to heat salt water form the sea, AND, ignite it into a ball of flames with Radio Waves. He offered these discoveries to any one who could further there use. It was sad that he could not save his own life as he died shortly after the airing of that show.

But, the fact that someone is continuing with the Cancer Treatment is excellent.
