I try..lol.
It is very hard to explain what NUNCHI is, what it can do, what value it may or will have for society regarding the new way people communicate, ala texting, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and the like.
Then you add sensors, social interaction, collection of data....bla bla bla and something results from it all. I mentioned this before, but let me try again...
There is an app called Phone Guard, it is owned and trademarked by Options Media Group Holdings. The administrator (parent) can set time outs rendering the phone incapable of use, such as during class hours off, lunch time on, back to class off, on the bus coming home on, at home off from 3 - 5 for homework/chores, remain off during dinner, on for 1 hour then off for the night til the bus ride to school. On weekends, more use time provided.
Out with friends...GPS tracks location at all times, speed of the vehicle, set up a radious where the kid said he/she would be, (geo fencing) and if outside that fence or a car exceeding the speed limit, Mom/Dad get an alert with a Google map of location and direction of travel outside the fence. Parents send a text saying, "get your fanny home pronto or it's restriction time!"
The phone will shut off at 10MPH except to access a panic button for emergencies to call parents or 911 if the kid is the driver. If on this day out with friends it's using anothers car, parents can disable the shut off for that particular event.
Now here's where NUNCHI comes in using this simple example of what the app can do, as it is a 1 time event and not recorded. With NUNCHI, the daily pattern is captured, sent via wireless, classified and stored for future access. If the pattern is disrupted, Mom/Dad get notified.
Since the kids pattern is bus to school and bus home, same route and time daily, if the kid jumps in a car to joyride vs coming home...caught ya, parents get a Google map and make contact. Next time the kid gets smart and jumps in a car to joy ride and shuts off the phone. Parents get notified the phone is disabled. This is the apps funtion, but NUNCHI captures the info for each event.
This is just a very simple example of data collection...use your imagination.
Can EDIG sell the tech? That is the obvious goal. Those who say "there are all kinds of apps out there that do this or that...true, but what happens after that? Nothing....
Cars have temperature sensors and a digital display of outside and inside temperature. It's a 1 time event, nothing recorded. What if a phone had a body temperature sensor to monitor the person while walking or jogging...that's a 1 time event. How about capturing the info daily for a year, storing it and compare month by month of the 4 seasons. Would this aid in ones health to know how the body reacts and give warning signs if one is over heating on a hot, humid Summer day? Recall this on the website:
While it’s easy to see how Nunchi can manage your communications and social media, you can also expect Nunchi to determine and support your activities, health, safety, timeliness, priorities and needs.
There are endless possibilities for this techs use.
