So why didn't the letter come from DM instead of EDIG. Why does the letter say:
Dear James,
Per the agreement between Duane Morris and e.Digital dated March 23. 2007, please let this letter serve as e.Digital's required notice to terminate that agreement, effective immediately.
I would think that if it was DM that was terminating, the letter would come from them or the letter would say per our mutually agreed upon decision. If it was DM that made the decision or even initiated the breakup why would they allow Fred to send them a letter clearly showing it was EDIG that was terminating the agreement. Wouldn't DM insist on a press release making it look like it was mutually agreed upon? Who does not mind especially a law firm letting the world know they where fired? JMO
