You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
It's simply a reference. One may thinkof it in a positive way, but others will ask themselves why didn't you develop and market the innovations. How come years later Apple made a fortune from the ideas.
For me, I would not have included the reference, it's a negative.
