MAXjet Open for Business; MAXjet Flights Can Be Booked Via The Airline`s Web Site, Toll-free Number
DULLES, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 2005--MAXjet Airways, Inc. announced today that it is open for business and accepting reservations for service that begins Nov. 1, 2005.
MAXjet will offer six flights each week between New York`s John F. Kennedy International Airport and London`s Stansted Airport, the fourth busiest and fastest-growing airport in the United Kingdom. During its first year of service, MAXjet will add additional routes to London from major U.S. markets along the east coast, including Washington, D.C.
Based at Washington Dulles Airport, MAXjet is the industry`s first transatlantic airline to offer an all-business class service with everyday fares that are 50 to 75 percent lower than those currently in the marketplace and start at $779 each way.(a) Operating Boeing 767-200 ERs configured with 102 business-class seats with 60-inch pitch for increased leg room and passenger comfort, MAXjet will offer upscale meal service, airport lounges and portable on-demand entertainment at value-based fares.
