Getting past the re exams and filing the first suit are both good things. IMO what we need to have happen is get some fairly quick settlements based on the fact that the patents are truly stronger than before. Otherwise, we are just on the track of a long drawn out court battle where no one makes any money except the lawyers. It is my hope that Fred has something yet unforseen up his sleeve. Changing law firms was, to me, a sign of trying to speed things up and signing on the dotted line for an extra $30,000 per month of overhead was another seemingly change of course move. Yes I realize that the $30,000 is credited against future settlements, but we still have to come up with it every month up front. The last several years have been all about scaling back, hunkering down, slowing the burn rate whatever you want to call it. I hope this new stance works out for all of us.
