You need more than that, you need to know and understand as I do....

For instance...you need to understand the difference between a virtual operating system and a logical operating system and how 737 sits on top as a major component.....and why 737 is important in these new law suits....with an established re-certification....it's the most front detail of 445, with that, 445 is in play.

You need to understand why that difference between virtual and logical allows e.Digital to Format media and place data on that media without having to erase any of the flash blocks in managing data..... for a very, very, extended time. You need to know how the good memory to bad memory granularity in formatting the memory allows the OS to make that happen.

You need to understand why the above is soooooooo very portable to any operating system attributes.

You need to understand how the hardware/bios/API interacts with that format management of data and why it is is sooooooo very fault tolerant.

You need to understand how they can make a multi codec device through the above methods

And mountains of other stuff....there are so many nuggets you would be astounded...

I say you start learning as much as you can and gain the knowledge of your investment.....you will not give a crap about the PPS. You will form a whole new prospective.
