For me, FRED stays as long as he wants, he's handling things the way they need to be handled @ the moment.

If and when the board feels(and they may get that opportunity) it's time to hire a brand name three ring circus conductor to show off with...I'll be all for it and Fred may be as well.

For now, it's not circus time, its down and dirty take the beating, get it done and on track.

If Fred gets this thing rolling, and rolling is what it will turn into, and he plants NUNCHI some where...it may be to his advantage to hand off to a circus conductor and let the show begin.

I wounder if William Shatner might be up for the job?....The epitome of circus conductors.
