News that QCOM does not have patents in hand is huge. If their RCE is granted, this must reference us as prior art, and most assuredly they still need our patents to fuel their machine. As this market segment is going to explode, wouldn't it be cheaper for them to work with us / license from us then gamgle that their RCE comes through years from now and after the enormous value (BILLIONS) of the CA segment is known.
Does anyone know whether our CA patents reference other prior art in this space? Do we hold patents that are truly core to this new computing?
As the world economies are so precarious and the stock markets are also dysfunctional, I feel great having a large chunk of investment here!! No matter how bad the economy gets worldwide, we know that people will not be giving up their cell phones and other mobile devices.
