I had the same experience trying to get answers from the SEC and in particular the OTC stock transactions.

I finally sent a detailed letter to a specific department and received a response that answered other questions that I did not ask. No answers on the questions in my letter.

In the last ten years we have hired idiots, especially any job within the government, national, state, or local. It's almost impossible to get the appropriate person much less the correct answer.

And our taxes pay for this ineptness.
