I remember punch cards, we use many for years. Our first IBM machine was a 360-30, two reels of tape. Software language included FORTRAN and COBOL if I remember correctly.
Prior to that I go back even before those. Our machine I believe was a Univac, large equipment , like 2 units each about 6' High and 10' length. We had to take the back off and change the wiring for each program.
I don't even remember what we had in the 1950s.
I also srtill have a Sharp EL-816S four function calculator, one of the first 10 key to hit the market. The comnpany paid about $500, thinking about it, it could be worth more than taht todat, some people collect old electronic items.
