There are times when the crux of a prior post must be repeated to counter a point being made. Things change and various points or opinions change when events change.

In addition because new individuals come to the board it may be necessary to repeat specific points so that new members or infrequent visitors have access to all opinions.

I see nothing basically wrong with repeat posts as long as it is properly controlled by the posting member. Hub members should only get involved after discussion with he poster and delete if it is deemed appropriate.
