"A new feature in the Purity Operating Environment 3.0 release, ZeroSnap Accelerated VM Cloning integrates the FlashArray's ZeroSnap snapshots with VMware's VAAI xCopy API, to allow for instant, hardware-accelerated cloning of VMware VMs. VMs are cloned instantly via a metadata-only snapshot operation, and are pre-deduped, meaning no data movement or re-writing of data."

ZeroSnap is for the management of virtual environments.....making sure they stay pristine.

I have no concern for ZeroSnap....if that is all its doing....no translating the metadata into anything else ?...lol

"and are pre-deduped" ??? pre-de-duped....fooled?

almost sounds as if something changes and is not simply a snap shot, or copy....

anyway
