Thing is..What the problem is/was...trying to create a computing environment that serves two purposes....emulate a RAM process while having a stored derivative @ the same time....with the same memory. There is an emulation of RAM, however, it does not totally eliminate RAM...and it's managed through specific combined principles of software and hardware...in placing the derivative.

It is distinctly different than prior art, however, putting the process into few words for the 774 patent such as ....

flash memory “sole memory of the received processed sound electrical signals”

and see the two separate and distinct processes in that phrase is tough to do.

IMO, "sole memory" was the correct way to combine the two for the 774 patent. You could say that the stored derivative is an inherent byproduct of the emulation.

doing and writing down what you do...can be tough.
