I made a comment a while back that these big CE companies have a line item in their yearly budget to settle lawsuits. They know what they are doing and it boils down to risk/reward.

Much more involved but you get my drift.

If AAPL for example made 50 billion in gross profit in 12 to 13 years and gets hit with 2 billion paying EDIG, what's the big deal...lol.

BTW, that's about $7.00/share.
