He is refereing to GOOG buying MMI, a cell phone OEM, although "cell phone company" implies wireless carrier.
In a nut shell, OEM's can have NUNCHI self contained on a smart phone, search engines can employ NUNCHI on it's system, and wireless carriers diseminate the infomation. All 3 can use NUNCHI to collect, classify, catagorize and store data.
All 3 working in tandem can generate revenue via context awareness.
