The way things worked out, IMO, this is good for e.Digital...with regard to flash memory SSD's as removable entities with the capability of being carried to other computers.

Designers are going to be aware of this e.Digital/Apple issue and are going to have to weld their SSD's into their designs now, as Apple initially did....or, at minimum, think hard about what they are doing .
