a note to my side note...Happy New Year everyone...lol

Not only did Samsung ( who we at one time or still are involved)devise a method of removing the normal RAM elements....Cornice has done the same for their HDD development....moving that item among others to the host side..This drive does not follow standardization..if you wish to take advantage of the pricing....your going to have cost associated on the host side to drive standard OS technology through it....or there`s no advantage

Unless it has translation IP scheme on board similar to what IMO...Samsung is doing.

I say there are some big things evolving behind the scenes

and standard architecture/bios/RAM/ are not part of it.
