I'd say it has more to do with the float of stock....Google only trades 234 million shares, compared to FB which trades 1.8 billion shares.

If Google owners are sitting tight on their positions, which I'm sure they are, it forces the value up...soon they will sell and it will come down as fast as it went up.

It's just over exuberance....for both cases
