If there is a settlement on 737 and 170 there will be no judgments of any kind with regard to them. There are details of the 774 partial judgments that are subject to the 737 and 170 out come. In that, with out any judgments.... the "if so necessary" conditions of the stipulated partial judgments on 774 infringement will be waived. This does not stop e.Digital in anyway from appealing the CE issue and they are doing that now based on a judgementt levied in the Huawei case. The appeal of the CE is now on the defendants plate to think about in the way of settling and getting things over with. Future defendants will have to deal with whatever is realized from the appeal.

Or should I say..

Future products will have to deal with whatever is realized from the appeal ?

With that, one has to keep in mind what is being settled....grievances over specific devices.

With that, licensing would be conditioned to the specific products only....

That is the way I see things and might be the reason for the recent realized proceeds.

IMO, e.Digital is not issuing overall licenses for FlashR, as things seem to have read in the past....unless they want to pay for it.

anyway
