10 year patent process....dead for three years and comes to life just when a signet patent is published. (?)

With regard to the examiner and coming down to his final rejection, then being corrected of his prior art error.... does that warrant a new docketed case ? Or should the resulting effect have been, that the prior art issue be rectified at that time and a patent published promptly?

The pull back may have been e.Digital for signet reasons, it may have been the attitude of the examiner as he searches for new prior art ...we will never know.

It's either the typical black cloud.....or the continued serendipitous puzzle....that e.Digital evolves around.
