IMO That would include a bunch of companies not associated directly with onboard flash-memory management, because at that time everyone thought the SDcard/s were going to carry encription and most major motion picture content and music was going that route, which it never did per encription anyway. . .

Toshiba even tried it again here just several years back per SD/Kiosks n nothing ever came of it.
